This long stretch of road is also nowadays refered to as the Mother Road of the States. It stretches from the great state of Illinois and goes through several others until it ends up at the west coast. You will find that the America you thought you will experience is much better than that. The trip is also easy to plan. You can sleep at the motels and eat for relativley cheap at the many local diners. There are numerous different sites and things to see on your way.

There are some places that you need to include which is a little out of the way, but really worth the effort. An interesting idea to consider is to include a Grand Canyon holiday package in your trip. Words are often inferior to describe this place. It’s a majestic and awesome jewel on planet earth. You will literally be left utterly awe-inspiring. It’s a huge place where you can go camping under the stars and go hiking along the beautiful trials outside. A charming fact of this destination is that it’s the perfect place for thos adventure junkies and also a great spot for those looking for a calm and relaxing break.

Before you enter the final leg of your trip, make sure to also include a quick Lake Tahoe holiday package. Lake Tahoe boasts some of the most incredible scenery that nature has to offer. Visitors come here to play a round of gold, to enjoy the water sports and to dine at one of the many restaurants. Many different families have been visiting this destination for decades and the feedback is always great!!

When you’re done with these small little detours, finish your route 66 trip in Los Angeles.Without a doubt this is a great place to get the plastic out and shop till you drop. Imagine walking down Rodeo Drive and to shop around those well known Beverly Hills shops. Mix it up with the stars and have a good old Tinsel Town time to finish up your trip.
